The main concept behind the design of this private villa was the combination of maximum transparency with the immediate environment but maintaining seclusion from the outside world. Linear volumes grow in parallel to the plot and the topography in order to take advantage of the panoramic views towards the sea and the city. The south facade is characterized by the large openings, allowing the view to the garden and accentuating the feeling of openness. Emphasis is given to the cantilever balconies by cladding them with wood. Movable panels in front of the bedrooms offer privacy, security and shading to the internal space and the front elevation's privately is created with small openings to the street. The swimming pool is partly covered by the first floor and this feature gives character to the external areas and the garden.
